Difficulties in transport between Male’ and Hulhumale’ will be solved by Ramadan, President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has assured.
Speaking at an event in Hulhumale’ Ghaazee School on Tuesday night, President Yameen said that he has received a work plan to improve the Hulhumale’-Male’ ferry service and that waiting time at the terminals will be reduced to a maximum of 10 minutes per trip.
“If everything goes according to this work plan, MTCC [Maldives Transport and Contracting Company] has assured that the number of ferries will be increased and the waiting time for trips between Hulhulmale’ and Male’ and for the return trip will be reduced to a maximum of 10 minutes, even during peak hours,” President Yameen said.
