International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) has issued a yellow notice to find Hamdhan Mohamed, a Maldivian who went missing in Malaysia on Thursday.
Hamdhan Mohamed’s listing in Interpol’s missing persons category provides photographs and details of marks on his body which might be helpful to identify the 28-year-old local. It states that Hamdhan went missing on 12 June 2014 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Malaysian police and the Maldives High Commission in Kuala Lumpur started searching for Mohamed Hamdhan, a resident of M. Hardrock, Male’, on Saturday after Hamdhan’s family reported him missing.
A missing persons post seeking Hamdhan’s whereabouts is being widely circulated on Facebook and other social media platforms. The posts state that Hamdhan was departing from Malaysia after completing an undergraduate degree in Law.
