The President’s Office has reopened application for the post of Information Commissioner.
The Office said that it decided to call for applications again after only one application was received following its initial announcement on 21 May.
The new announcement published on the Government Gazette today states that applications can be submitted until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, 22 June.
The announcement also details the requirements for the post of Information Commissioner, as stated in Article 45 of the Right to Information Act.
The application forms can be obtained from the President’s Office or downloaded from its website.
