Sun Online launches new page for World Cup

Sun Online has launched a new page especially designed for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

Creative Director at Sun Online Ismail Zahee said that special attention was paid when creating the page, to making information easily accessible to readers.

“We made it our priority to create a simple, easy-on-the eye layout which makes it easy for readers to find the information they need. We have also tried to present the page to Maldivians’ taste,” said Zahee.

Chief Editor at Sun Online Ahmed Zahir Mohamed said that the World Cup page is a new addition to the chain of special pages introduced by Sun Online ahead of all major events, and that it would include a wide range of in-depth information sought by readers.

Sun Online’s World Cup page includes team profiles, information on stadiums and groups, and match schedules in local time for Maldives.

Sun Online is an online newspaper operated under Sun Media Group. Sun Media Group has also introduced a ‘Sun World Cup Guide 2014’ magazine, which includes a free score chart and A2-size posters of Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar.
