Former President Mohamed Nasheed has said that Maldives must win tonight’s AFC Challenge Cup match against Kyrgyzstan.
Nasheed, the guest of honour for tonight’s match, said this in a tweet this afternoon.
“Maldives must win tonight. I urge all supporters to be present at the stadium to spectate the match,” said Nasheed on Twitter.

Maldives lost the first group match on Monday night by 2 – 3 against Myanmar, following which experts have stressed the importance tonight’s match for Maldives.
Maldives is included in Group A, alongside Myanmar, Kyrgyzstan, and Palestine in the AFC Challenge Cup 2014.
