Efforts ongoing to implement second phase of Hulhumale

Managing Director of Housing Development Corporation (HDC) Shuhail Mohamed has said that efforts are ongoing to begin the second phase of the Hulhumale’ land reclamation project as soon as possible.

Shuhail said this while talking to reporters after a ceremony held today to mark 10 years since the population of Hulhumale’.

He said that efforts are ongoing by HDC as well as the government to find ways to begin the second phase, and mentioned that the government is considering the option of employing Dutch company Boskalis for this project.

Today’s ceremony was attended by officials of institutions in Hulhumale’, students of schools in Hulhumale’, and citizens of Hulhumale’.
