Villa College signs agreement with IIUM

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Villa College and International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), regarding IIUM assisting Villa College in relation to higher education in Islamic Studies.

The agreement was signed at a ceremony at Villa College today by Rector of Villa College Dr Ahmed Anwar and Professor at IIUM Dr Abdul Azeez.

Dr Anwar noted that the IIUM alumni includes several Maldivians holding senior posts - including Vice President Dr Mohamed Jameel Ahmed - and expressed happiness over Villa College signing an agreement with this prestigious university regarding higher education assistance.

Dr Abdul Azeez noted that IIUM already has branches in several countries around the world, and said that the university is happy to utilise its expertise and capacity to assist Villa College.
