Security awareness program begins for Criminal Court staff

A security awareness training program is under way for staff of Criminal Court.

The program started yesterday in Kaafu Maafushi.

The purpose of the program is to familiarise Criminal Court staff with communicating with criminals who are taken to the court.

The training program was inaugurated by Chief Judge of Criminal Court Abdulla Mohamed.

He stressed the importance of this program for the staff of Criminal Court, and said that education and training is necessary for everyone.

The program was conducted by officials of Judicial Security Division, Maldives Correctional Service, and Kaafu Maafushi Prison Academy.

The program will be concluded tomorrow.
