Judge Ahmed Shakeel has been appointed Head of Juvenile Court.
Spokesperson of Judicial Service Commission (JSC) Hassan Zaheen told Sun Online that this appointment follows the commission’s decision to have a new head judge in courts every six months.
Until now, Judge Mohamed Naeem acted as Head of Juvenile Court.
JSC has decided to change heads of all courts that do not have chief judges, every six months.
The only superior court to have a chief judge is Criminal Court, where the Chief Judge is Abdulla Mohamed (Judge Abdulla).
