A laptop computer was stolen from the Anti-Corruption Commission’s (AAC) main office on Sunday.
The commission’s vice president Muavviz Rasheed told Sun Online today that the Dell laptop was stolen from the commission’ meeting room sometime Sunday afternoon, while the room was left open for maintenance.
Police media official said that the case was reported around 11:00 a.m. today. The thief was caught on security cameras and police are investigating the case. The laptop was primarily used for presentations and would not contain crucial data, Muavviz assured.
“The man (thief) is an outsider. The laptop would not have any data,” Muavviz said.
