Sun Online apologizes to Tiger Airways

Sun Online expresses its sincere apologies to Tiger Airways for posting an unrelated photograph on an article published on 10 April 2014, titled “Passenger dies on-board flight that departed from Maldives”.

Sun Online would like to note that the photograph was changed as soon as the inconsistency was brought to the service’s attention and that all appropriate action were promptly followed through.

The passenger who died mid-flight on Thursday - a young woman from Tajikistan - passed away on an Aeroflot A-320 flight that departed from Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA).

Sun Online once again apologizes to Tiger Airways for the unfortunate mishap.
