Individual suffers serious injuries in accident in Laamu Gan

An individual has been seriously injured in an accident involving two motorcycles in Laamu Gan.

Manager of Gan Regional Hospital Abdul Samad told Sun Online that the victim, Jadulla Khaleel, 21, suffered a broken arm and leg and several other serious injuries.

Abdul Samad said that doctors have advised to take him to Male’ for further treatment.

Ahmed Zaheen, 29, and Zuleikha Mohamed, 23, also suffered injuries in the accident and are being treated at Gan Regional Hospital.

Sun Online correspondent in Laamu Atoll Ali Wafir said that the accident took place at 10:55 p.m. in Thundi district.

Police said that the accident has been reported and is under investigation.
