Individual suffers serious injuries in accident in Male

An accident near Falah Preschool at around midnight on Sunday night has left a 23-year-old in serious condition.

He is undergoing treatment in the ICU at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Police said that the victim suffered several broken bones including one on this leg, and a serious head injury.

The accident took place when two motorcycles carrying two people each collided. The victim was thrown and landed inside a shop through its glass door.

The other people involved in the accident did not suffer any serious injuries.
