Signing of voters

Signing of voters’ lists, ahead of the Parliamentary Election scheduled for 22 March, is under way.

The signing began at 8:30 a.m. at Faashanaa Hall in Dharubaaruge.

Secretary General of Elections Commission Asim Abdul Sattar told Sun Online that signing of voters’ lists is ongoing as planned, and that no candidate or political party had refused to sign the lists.

The signing was paused at 11:00 a.m., and will resume at 2:30 p.m.

It will continue until 10:30 p.m., and again tomorrow from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
