President appoints Deputy Minister of Education

President Yameen Abdul Gayoom has appointed Ibrahim Haneef as Deputy Minister of Education.

Prior to being appointed Deputy Minister, Haneef held the post of Headmaster at Gaafu Alifu Atoll Education Centre.

Haneef told Sun Online that he was informed of this appointment today, and that he will begin work next week.
