EU mission arrives in Maldives to observe parliamentary election

An Election Observation Mission from the European Union has arrived in the Maldives to observe the 22 March parliamentary election.

On invitation by the Maldives Election Commission (EC), the mission is lead by chief observer Eduard Kukan, member of the European Parliament and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia.
