IGMH lab technician summoned to committee

The laboratory technician allegedly responsible for the transfusion of HIV positive blood to a pregnant woman at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), and Health Minister Dr Maryam Shakeela have been summoned to Parliamentary Committee on Oversight of the Government.

They were first summoned for tonight, but the meeting has been rescheduled to tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. following Dr Shakeela’s request.

Chairperson of the Committee MP Ali Waheed said that summons have been sent to the lab technician and other officials of IGMH.
