Two arrested in Naifaru for growing marijuana

Two people have been arrested in Lhaviyani Naifaru for growing a marijuana plant at home.

The suspects are two men aged 27 and 24, who have past record of theft and involvement in drug crimes.

Police said that the suspects were arrested during an operation last Saturday, when police officers searched a house named Hareesh following a tip-off and found a small marijuana plant near the wall of the adjacent cemetery.
