82 abandoned vehicles removed

Police have removed 82 vehicles that had been abandoned and remained on the streets for a long time.

Police said that 57 four-wheeled vehicles and 25 motorcycles were removed in the operation carried out yesterday by Maldives Police Service, Male’ City Council and Transport Authority.

Police said that all vehicles are now under the supervision of City Council, and that owners can present the relevant documents to City Council Office to reclaim their vehicles.
