PPM tickets for Parliamentary Election confirmed for 13 candidates

Tickets of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM) have been confirmed for 13 candidates, for the upcoming Parliamentary Election.

An official of PPM told Sun Online that only one candidate had applied for each of the 13 constituencies, and that the 13 candidates include 9 PPM Parliamentary Group Members.

Laamu Fonadhoo ticket was granted to sitting Fonadhoo MP Abdul Raheem Abdulla, Vilimaafannu ticket to sitting Vilimaafannu MP Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik, Galolhu South ticket to sitting Galolhu South MP Ahmed Mahloof, Eydhafushi ticket to sitting Eydhafushi MP Ahmed Saleem, Faafu Nilandhoo ticket to Nilandhoo MP Abdul Muhsin Hameed, Haa Alifu Kelaa ticket to sitting Haa Dhaalu Vaikaradhoo MP Ali Arif, Dhiggaru ticket to sitting Dhiggaru MP Ahmed Nazim, Fuvahmulah South ticket to Fuvahmulah South MP Abdulla Maseeh, Vilufushi ticket to sitting Vilufushi MP Riyaz Rasheed, Henveyru South ticket to sitting Henveyru South MP Mohamed Riyaz, Thaa Guraidhoo ticket to Minister of State for Home Affairs Hussain Manik Dhonmanik, Thinadhoo North ticket to Saudulla Hilmy, and Baarah ticket to Ibrahim Sujau.

PPM said that primaries will be held for the remaining constituencies.
