Drifting Sri Lankan fishing boat brought to Male

Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has brought Sri Lankan fishing boat ‘Inaali’, which went adrift, to Male’.

MNDF said that the 30-ft fishing boat carrying three people was brought to Male’ on Monday night, and that the boat left Sri Lanka for fishing one month ago.

The boat had been adrift for eight days, and was in Maldivian territory for the last three days, said MNDF.
