President’s Office has today ordered the relevant offices to construct a shelter for passengers arriving and departing from the airport island Hulhule’.
In a press statement released today, President’s Office noted that the area lacks any kind of protection from the weather and that this causes great difficulty for people seeking the ferry service.
The statement said that President's Office has received complaints of damage to baggages and goods during their transfer to the airport and that it is essential to have proper shade and shelter in a place used by hundreds of people, including foreigners, each day.
