Police launch search for two dug network leaders

The police have launched a search for two leaders of a drug network that was busted in an operation by Police Drug Enforcement Department and Police Intelligence earlier this month.

The two suspects are Ismail Zeehan, 21, of G. Meadow; and Faisal Ibrahim, 23, of Ma. Anooma.

The police said that H. Fahaageaage and several other locations related to this network have been inspected under court warrants as part of this operation.

The police confiscated large quantities of drugs and money and arrested several suspects in Fahaageaage.

Two Maldivians, one Pakistani and one Sri Lankan connected to this network have been arrested thus far by the police.
