Man stabbed in Maafushi

A young man was stabbed and injured in Kaafu Maafushi today.

Speaking to Sun, Maafushi island council member Abdul Mufeed said that 33-year-old Ismail Zahir was cut and stabbed near the island’s diving center around 1:10 p.m. today. The man is being treated in the island’s health center, the councilor said.

Police media official said they investigating the incident.
