Fenaka Corporation Dhiyamigili office set ablaze

The island office of the government utility company Fenaka Corporation in Thaa Dhiyamigili was set ablaze early this morning.

Describing the incident as a deliberate act of arson, person in-charge of Dhiyamigili Fenaka office Mohamed Ali said that the fire has burnt away all everything inside the building, including all the documents and furniture.

“Two computers and all the documents were piled up and set fire. They were put together. The tables were brunt too,” Mohamed Ali said.

Police said they received reports of the fire around 6:30 this morning. They said that the arsonists had broken the front door to get inside the building.

“Everything inside the building was burnt in the fire. Police are investigating the case. A police team is on the island,” the Police Media Official said.
