Maldivian Ambassador presents Credentials to President of Indonesia

The new Ambassador appointed by the Maldivian government to Indonesia, Dato Mohamed Zaki has presented his credentials to the President of Indonesia Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono today.

At the ceremony held at the President’s Palace in Indonesia, Dato Mohamed Zaki thanked Indonesian President Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and discussed ways to improve relations between the two countries. He also conveyed greetings to President Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on behalf of Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik, his government and the Maldivian people.

Indonesian President Dr Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono expressed hope for strengthening economic relations between Maldives and Indonesia. He also conveyed greetings to Maldivian President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik and Maldivian citizens.

Dato Mohamed Zaki is also the Maldivian High Commissioner to Malaysia and Brunei.
