Committee to decide on approval of ministers on 23 December

Parliamentary Committee on Oversight of the Government has said it will decide on granting approval to the newly appointed cabinet of ministers on 23 December.

Chairman of the committee, Thoddoo MP Ali Waheed said voting for the issue has been put on the committee agenda for 2:30 p.m. on 23 December.

On 27 November, Speaker of Parliament Abdulla Shahid notified the committee to complete its assessment before 23 December.

The committee earlier announced that the assessment is ongoing.
