Sunday declared a public holiday

President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has declared tomorrow, Sunday 17 November as a public holiday.

President’s Office revealed that the government offices will remain closed as a new president is scheduled to take oath office tomorrow, and also because a large number of government employees are engaged in conducting the presidential election, of which the final results will be announced tomorrow morning.
