Hussain Waheed appointed as Deputy Commissioner

Hussain Waheed, who previously held the post of Police Assistant Commissioner, has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Police.

Commissioner of Police Abdulla Riyaz said on Twitter that Waheed has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner, and congratulated him.

Police Media Official Sub-Inspector of Police Ahmed Shiyam also confirmed the appointment of Waheed as Deputy Commissioner.

Police say that Hussain Waheed is a graduate of F.B.I., and is trained in various Police-related areas from institutions around the world. He has also attained higher education in Police Leadership from Scottish Police College.
