Feydhoo MP Alhan Fahmy has been summoned by the police for making remarks to intimidate judges and their families.
Alhan’s lawyer, Noorban Fahmy, told Sun Online after attending the police station with Alhan, that the case under investigation by the police relates to remarks made by Alhan during a protest against the Supreme Court held on 23 September.
Noorban said that Alhan gave a statement to the police for this investigation, in which he stated that he did not make any remarks with the intention of intimidating judges, and that he was expressing his views during the protest.
Noorban also said that the case against Alhan was filed to the police by two individuals, whose identities were not revealed by the police.
