On the issue of congestion in Malé, which happens to be burdened with nearly one-third of the country’s population, Maizan Alibe said that the Veshifahi Malé project would be revised and implemented. Veshifahi Malé project has been designed by the government in order to find a solution to the problem of lack of homes form people living in Malé.
“We will work in order to implement government policies. One of the most important of them is connected to the Veshifahi Malé project, and all the Councilors in the Malé City Council have agreed that it should be our biggest priority”, Maizan Alibe said.
