PARIS (AP) — Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed a one-year extension to his contract at Paris Saint-Germain, tying him to the French club until 2016.
Ibrahimovic was signed from AC Milan before the start of last season in a deal worth an estimated 20 million euros ($25 million), He was the league's top goalscorer, with his 30 goals helping PSG to its first title since 1994.
Ibrahimovic says Tuesday "I don't see a more ambitious club in Europe than Paris Saint-Germain."
The 31-year-old Sweden striker, who has also played for Juventus, Inter Milan and Barcelona, adds "my wish is that Paris Saint-Germain is my last big club. This club is like me: the dream is never big enough."
Ibrahimovic was also top goalscorer twice in Italy, where he won four Serie A titles.
