President promotes position of Chairman of Transport Authority to State Minister

President Dr Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has upgraded the position of the Chairman of Transport Authority to the rank of State Minister.

The President’s Office stated in this regard, that the current Chairman of Transport Authority Abdul Rasheed Nafiz has been promoted to the rank of State Minister. He was previously in the rank of Deputy Minister.

Abdul Rasheed Nafiz was the campaign spokesperson for President Waheed’s Forward with the Nation coalition.
