CEO of MTCC joins MDP

CEO of Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), Dr Adhuham Abdulla, has signed the membership form to join the Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP).

Adhuham, who previously acted as a leading official in Gaumee Itthihad Party founded by President Dr Mohamed Waheed, signed the membership form to join MDP at a ceremony held at the MDP office last night.

Speaking to Sun after the signing ceremony, Adhuham said that he joined MDP because at the moment, joining MDP is the best way to remain in public service and serve the country.

“The main reason behind my joining MDP is that I’ve always wanted to serve the country, the public. I have proved this in my work at MTCC. I believe that the best way I can serve the country right now, is by joining MDP,” he said.

Adhuham said that he has not been dismissed from his post at MTCC following his decision to join MDP, and that he will continue to serve as the CEO of MTCC until he is dismissed.
