The Ministry of Fisheries and Agriculture has created a database on the ‘Islands of Maldives’, including information on inhabited islands, uninhabited islands and reefs in the Maldives.

Deputy Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture Ali Solih told Sun today that the database can be accessed by visiting www.islandsofmaldives.gov.mv.

“Complete information will be available, including the nearest airport to the island, the nearest hospital, and so on,” he said.

Solih said that the database will be officially launched after more information is added, which will be done soon.
