EC announces polling times for overseas stations

Elections Commission has today announced the opening and closing times of ballot boxes placed overseas, for the presidential election to be held on Saturday, 7th September.

An announcement by the Commission today stated that polling will be conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in New Delhi, Trivandrum and Colombo, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in London, 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, all timings in local of the respective countries.

Polling will be conducted in the Maldives from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday, 7th September 2013.
