Civil Service Commission (CSC) has called on civil servants to file an official complaint with the Commission, if they have not received the salaries deducted in 2010.
President of CSC Dr. Mohamed Latheef told Sun that the Commission continues to receive grievances that the salaries have not been reimbursed, even though Finance Minister Abdulla Jihad had stated the deducted amounts have all been duly paid to the employees.
“I would like to advice all civil servants, who have not received the deducted amount, to bring the matter to our attention,” Latheef said.
Sharing their grievances with Sun, the Community Health Officer in-charge of Gaafu Alif Gemanafushi Heath Centre Ahmed Zareer said that Gaafu Alif atoll’s health sector employees have yet to receive four months of deducted salary payments, as announced by the government. It has been a long time since the Gemanafushi Health Centre employees had filed complaints with relevant authorities, he said.
