President appoints Jaabir as Special Trade Representative

President Dr. Mohamed Waheed Hassan Manik has today appointed famous business tycoon and resort-owner Abdullah Jabir as Special Trade Representative at the President’s Office.

Abdullah Jabir, H. Thimaaveshi, is the Deputy Leader of Jumhoory Party. He has been given a post that is of the same rank as Ministers.

After handing over the letter of appointment to Jaabir at a special ceremony held at the President’s Office this afternoon, the President said that Jaabir was one of the most experienced businessmen of the country, and that his services would be of great value to the nation at this juncture.
