Hulhumale

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has awarded the project to construct a preschool in Hulhumale’ to Jausa Construction.

In a ceremony held today, the agreement was signed by Managing Director of HDC Shuhail Ahmed on behalf of HDC, and Managing Director of Jausa Jilwaz Jaufar on behalf of Jausa.

The two-storey preschool will have six classrooms which can accommodate up to 30 students.

The school will also have a library, an audio visual room, a computer lab, a hall, and a multi-purpose hall.

Jausa was commissioned to complete the project within six months.

A preschool operated in Hulhumale’ by a private group was recently burned useless in a fire incident, but classes have commenced now after the building was repaired.
