Woman who defrauded several people turns herself in

A woman who defrauded several people and collected money in exchange for dollars, has attended the police station and turned herself in.

The police said that Aishath Sharmeena, 32, of Mohoreege, Haa Dhaalu Vaikaradhoo, turned herself in about one hour after the announcement in search of her was made.

The fraud case is now under police investigation.
