Three arrested while packing drugs

The police have caught and arrested three people while they were packing drugs in a house in Male’.

The police entered Ma. Kudhibaiyge with a court warrant in an operation based on information received by police intelligence.

The three people are aged 25, 35 and 36, said the police.

The police said that the three people were packing a substance suspected to be drugs, and they tried to escape when the police entered the house.

Following checks, the police found 23 packets, one big packet and several small packets containing substances suspected to be drugs. They also found several items used for packing drugs.
