Ramadan sale exclusive for MNDF officers begins

Sifainge Cooporative (SIFCO), the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) cooperative society, has begun “SIFCO Roadha Sale 2013”, the cooperative’s annual sale exclusive for the defence force officers and their families for the month of Ramadan.

The sale was inaugurated by Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Ibrahim Rasheed at the “Khaki Fihaara” (Khaki Shop) inside the military grounds, Kalhuthukkala Koshi, yesterday.

MNDF revealed that the sale will continue until the 23rd of next month in Khaki Shops in MNDF areas around the country, the SIFCO Family Mart, shops in Bandaara Koshi and Kalhuthukkala Koshi.

The defence force stated that a special credit facility will be extended where officers will be able to divide payment for purchases exceeding MVR 2000 and MVR 3000 to a two and three months respectively.

They also said that any sale exceeding MVR 500 will receive a coupon which entitles the customer to a lucky draw with a 32 inch TV and a DVD player as prices.
