Maldivian missing while snorkeling, found

The Maldivian who went missing while snorkeling earlier today, has been found.

A police media official said that the 29 year old man was found stranded on top of Emboodhoo Reef around 11:55 am and that he is now being transported Male’ in police speed boat. The incident was reported around 10:40 am after which search and rescue efforts shortly commenced.

He is reported to be in good condition.

The official said that a few other people accompanied the man on their snorkeling expedition.

MNDF media official said that the police and MNDF rescued the man through a joint operation.
