President Waheed returns to Male

President Dr Mohamed Waheed has returned to Male’ this morning after an official visit to Palestine.

The president visited Palestine on the invitation of Palestinian President Dr Mahmoud Abbas, to attend the Fourth International Islamic Conference of Bait-al Maqdis.

During this trip, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas presented the ‘Star of Palestine’ honour to President Waheed, and President Waheed conferred the order of ‘Nishan Izzuddeen’ on the Palestinian President.
