Windows of three shops smashed

Windows have been smashed of three shops in Male’ this evening.

The police said that the shops of which windows were smashed were Rainbow furniture shop on Alikilegefaanu Magu, TC Mart opposite Rainbow, and Kooddoo fish shop on Hadheebee Magu.

The police said that the windows of Rainbow and TC Mart were smashed at around 19:45, and the window of Kooddoo fish shop at around 20:00.

The police said that the case is under investigation, but no arrests have been made yet.

Eyewitnesses in the area told Sun Online that the windows of Rainbow, TC Mart and Kooddoo shop were smashed by throwing stones while the shops were closed.

These incidents come at a time when the police have launched an operation in search of 50 suspects following a recent series of stabbings in Male’.
