Court releases two people who helped stab suspect hide

The court has released two people who were arrested last night for helping Shafran Abdul Razzag Ahmed, 19, hide from the police.

Shafran is suspected of stabbing two people.

Shafran was found and arrested in the third floor apartment of M. Nikosiage at around 12:30 last night. The police also arrested four other people with him, including Shafran’s brother and suspected drug dealer Ibrahim Sharfan Abdul Razzag (Safa) and a girl, both of whom were released tonight by the court.

The police media official said that Safa and the girl who helped Shafran hide were released on the condition that they cooperate with the police in their investigation after they are released.

He said that the court gave a detention period of 15 days for Shafran and the two other people who helped him hide.

Shafran is suspected of having stabbed two people on the evening of 18 May.
