Car travelling at high speed flips over in Addu City

An accident occurred in Hithadhoo, Addu City this morning as a car flipped over after losing control while travelling at high a speed near the Hithadhoo harbour.

Police Media Official said that the accident happened around 09:00 this morning and that nobody was hurt during the incident. It happened while the driver of the car was trying to overtake a motorcycle that came alongside it, on the same road.

“The accident happened when the car lost control while over-taking, driving at a fast speed,” Official said.

The Official said that the person that was driving the car and the person that was riding the motorcycle are both safe and that nobody was hurt. The car however, sustained a number of damages.
