Case sent to PG Office against two people accused of child abuse

A case has been forwarded to the Prosecutor General’s Office against two people for abusing several children under 18 and raping a 14-year-old girl.

The suspects are Ahmed Nazeer, 33, of Mureedhuge of Gaaf Alif Villingili, and Saeedha Hassan, 38, of Mariyaazuge, Gnaviyani Fuvahmulah.

Ahmed Nazeer is being accused of abusing several children under 18 and raping a 14-year-old girl, and Saeedha Hassan is being accused of participating and assisting Ahmed Nazeer in the activities.

The case was sent to the PG Office on 14 May.

A case was also sent to the PG Office on 14 May against Ibrahim Adam, 49, of Dhebudhaaruge of Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi, for abusing a minor.
