MIRA announces approved auditors

Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has announced the names of the auditors approved by the authority as credible to submit finances and returns, as mandated by the Business Profit Tax Act.

MIRA states that they have so far granted the licenses to 14 audit firms and 4 individuals, and that their information are now available on the authority’s website.

According to the Business Profit Tax Act, parties who are required to submit the financial statements together with the Business Profit Tax Retum are required to appoint an independent auditor approved by the Authority.
