Man arrested in Vilimale

The police have arrested a man in Vilimale’ for producing alcohol.

The 29-year-old Bangladeshi was arrested in the first floor of Florida House following a special operation carried out by police.

The police said that 17 barrels containing a substance suspected to be alcohol, six empty 5-litre bottles of alcohol, and equipment used to produce alcohol were discovered in the house.

The case is now under investigation.
